I love a cute animal and a good pun. It was perfect for a friend’s birthday card! What I love about the sentiment in this card is that it can also fit if you forget a birthday or are sending this late.
For this project I also tried a technique new for me. I made the background using my blending brushes. It was my first time trying this and I am quite pleased how it turned out. Might have to get more adventurous and try making some more backgrounds.
So what do you think? Are you the fan of animal stamps? Do you like puns?
Inside says: It’s your birthday!

This week I am focusing on the Oh Snap! stamp set. Anyone who knows me knows that I love puns and this set has a few.
Today’s card is a very simple one. While I was sitting at my desk getting inspired my mini me informed me that she wanted to find a penpal to start writing to. At that moment I looked at the stamp set and noticed the sentiment Hello Friend! It then hit me to make a simple card that would be perfect to send to any friend just to say hello! What is great is that this card can be made with any colors. So it is not only quick and easy to make but it is also really easy to change to suit the person you are sending it to.
Who can’t like the cute little frog?!?

It is Friday which makes it the perfect day for a Fun Fold! I simply love the alliteration! This fun fold is so very easy to do though! Not sure it is totally a fun fold but a card with some extra cuts and a fun panel.
For this project I used Crushed Curry cardstock, Darling Donkeys stamp set and the Playing with Patterns DSP.
I figured I would give you the measurements for this card. It is simply an A4 piece of cardstock cut in half on the short side. Then you fold it in half on the long side. With one of the halves you divide the length in 3 and cut off two of the panels. One panel becomes the bottom piece and the other gets turned to become the focal piece. This is also the piece that attaches to the top and bottom to hold it together, so make sure when you put on adhesive you don’t cover the entire thing otherwise it will stick to the card base.
Measurements: Cardstock base: 29.6x 10.5 cm folded at 14.8 DSP layers: 4.4x 10cm Focal Point layer: 4.4 x 10cm Card Insert: 14.3x 10 cm Cut one half of the card base at 4.9 and 9.8cm. One becomes the base, one becomes the focal point layer.
I can’t believe there are only 2 more days after today to get this fabulous stamp set and for free! Remember if you want to get it before it goes get in touch!

Anyone else ever get stuck with deciding on a layout for a card? I know I certainly do. Well one thing I tend to do is browse for ideas and then try and put some ideas together.
Well for this card while I was browsing I saw a few projects around that use a little window in their card to show off a different cardstock etc. So I decided to give this a go. I wanted to show off a DSP for the background but through a little sort of window. So this is my card.
For this project all you need is some cardstock, DSP and either a punch or a set of dies. I decided to use a set of dies so it would give me more space for the adorable donkey so I chose the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Then it was just a choice of DSP and some extras to spruce it up!
For DSP I used the Brights and the 2020-2022 In Color DSP. These packs are fab because they are simple designs using the colors of that family. Then just some rhinestones and some bubblebee ribbon to finish it off oh an a sentiment!
Oh anyone notice my little rebel donkey? I love his little pink mohawk!
I can’t believe these donkeys will be leaving us soon! If you do want them get in contact or click here to shop and have them sent direct to you!
I know I have said this before but one thing I love about the new year is Sale-a-bration and all the free goodies! This week I am using another free set, Darling Donkeys. They are so cute and fun so I couldn’t not use them.
I needed some more birthday cards and these donkeys are perfect for that. Plus they are great for simple and easy cards! So of course I made a whole bunch of them in different colors!
All that was needed was a simple card base, a cardstock mat and a stamped image layer. So simple and so quick!
Which one of the donkeys is your favorite, the lover with the rose, the cute little one or the jumping for joy donkey?
These donkeys are so cute and are only around until the end of February, if you do want them get in contact or click here to shop and have them sent direct to you!
Ok I really need to put this set down! I am 100% sure that this will be a set I hold on to forever!
For this project I decided to use two products that are free during Sale-a-bration. Not only did I use the free A Touch of Ink stamp set but I have also used the Oh So Ombre DSP.
I wanted to use the DSP but also feature some more of the stamps so I decided to use the DSP coloring to almost fill in the stamps. I actually like the look of the stamped background. It was so quick and easy and has a great effect.
Then a simple label using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies with a sentiment and a colored butterfly. Don’t forget about the wink of stella!
These are definitely two free items you are going to want to get and if you do want them get in contact or click here to shop and have them sent direct to you!

Ok I think I might definitely be keeping this set for a while! I love coloring and this set is perfect for that.
This time I focused on the hummingbird. Funny enough I have seen some in real life but was definitely too lazy to look up their coloring so I made their colors up. I decided to go for some brighter colors.
Anyway I made a set of these cards and they are perfect to add to my Thank You card stash
What do you think of the set? Don’t forget this set disappears at the end of February. If you want to get this set free get in contact or click here to shop and have it sent direct to you!
So the beginning of every year is Sale-a-bration, a fabulous time where you get free goodies including stamps! Who doesn’t love free stamps? Well this week I am using a free stamp set: A Touch Of Ink. It is a great set that I didn’t think I would like as much as I do. It has some lovely simple sentiments and some gorgeous images you can either color in or use the two step stamps to fill in. This might be a set I hold on to for a while.
Anyway I decided to use a plain black and white butterfly but of course it needed some color. So I decided to focus on some simple stamping and gave my fluttering butterfly a rainbow trail!
Of course I couldn’t just make one card I had to make a whole rainbow set!
Anyway let me know what you think. Have you gotten this set free yet? If you want to get this set free get in contact or click here to shop and have it sent direct to you!
Wow is anyone else amazed that I have made a week of blogs. Yes I know it has only been every other day but it is an improvement. Fingers crossed I can keep it up.
Anyway I still can’t put down the Snail Mail Suite! This will be a set that I keep forever. So today’s project is something new for me. I knew when I saw the snails I wanted to try something new and I wanted to make a card with movement. It is a project I have wanted to make for a while but never had the inspiration or the right set and this one I love!
So I made this cute little interactive card. You pull the tab the snail moves and then there is a cute little envelope with a happy message inside! It was so easy to make and so much fun!
Anyway I am going to go and keep watching my snail move across the card.
On my challenge to use up some DSP instead of hoarding it I decided to do something a little different. I wanted to show off some of the designs in the Snail Mail DSP. I decided to cut the dsp at random slants and then piece it together. It makes a fabulous background and really shows off the different designs. Aren’t they fabulous?!?!
Of course I couldn’t make a card without stamping one of the fun snails. This one carrying a present is so adorable. He has such a cute happy face and so cheerful saying Hello!
Anyway I of course gave him some sparkle with my wink of stella and topped it all off with some of the twine from the suite!
I don’t think I am going to ever be able to put this suite down. It is too cute! Let me know what you think. Are you loving this suite as much as me?
